Longview Yacht Club is located outside of Jefferson, Texas, on Lake 'O the Pines. Our facility rests near Big Cypress Marina in a quiet cove. Our clubhouse has two bathrooms with showers, kitchen, and living area with large windows overlooking the lake. Our new pier has electricity for every slip along with water hoses available for use. Our large patio and deck with two large grills are great for social events, and our swingset and gazebo are fun for the kids. Several sunfish are available for use by the members, and with reciprocal membership to clubs all over the country and Boat US membership discount, the Longview Yacht Club is a great benefit. Come join us!

More about the Club - Organized in 1978, the Longview Yacht Club's private pier accommodates 30 boats. Activites include a balance of racing, cruising and social events. Monthly membership meetings are usually held in Longview, but most activities take place at the lake. Member's boats range from trailerable board-boats to cruisers in the 30-foot range to multihulls. Organized cruising activities include rafting parties, moonlight cruises, and water balloon battles. Lake O' the Pines is a wonderful cruising lake with many members spending weekends out on the lake. The Club holds regular races and regattas on the Lake beginning in February with the Frostbite Regatta and ending with an around-the-lake Great Race in November. Racing is done using Portsmouth Handicap and usually there are two fleets. Clubs members assist the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in teaching boater safety courses, offer sailing courses to the public, conduct free rigging clinics, and provide racing clinics to its membership. Monthly happy hour, at the lake fish fries and steak grilling, a "U-Make-It/U-Sail-It" race, youth sailing activities, and a host of other activities round out a typical year for the Club. Membership is open to boat owners and others interested in sailing or boating on Lake O' the Pines. Join us at one of our meetings or events. Visitors are ALWAYS welcome!
